Facts about Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia:
- It is usually found in the bone marrow or blood.
- It is the most conman type of children cancer.
- If this cancer doesn't get treated right away it gets worse really fast.
- Many children use the treatment of chemotherapy or bone marrow transplants
- This cancer occurs when the bone marrow makes to many lymphocytes which are a type of white blood cells.
Ways you can help:
There are many ways someone can help. Many people like to donate money to the A.L.L. charity. Every year there is a San Fransisco Half or Full Marathon you can run and the money they raise goes to help find a cure to A.L.L. You could also just be there for the person when they need you the most. People can donate their bone marrow to a cancer patient with A.L.L. if their bone marrow matches. You school can old a fundraiser or just wear the cancer color to show support and respect. There are many ways people can help cancer patients from big this to smaller things.
