If I could cure on type of Cancer it would be Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).  The reason I would choose this cancer is because of a girl that meant more then anyone could imagine to me.  She was diagnosed with this cancer when she was 8 months old.  She lived with it her whole life and found never gave up.  She always was singing and dancing with a huge smile on her face.  She was never down and she could always make sure you weren't down. She was everyone's sunshine on a cloudy day and she touched many people's hearts. Sadly she couldn't fight anymore and died at the age of three, four days before her birthday. During her short life she taught people to enjoy every minute because you don't know what's going to happen the next. Her name was Lilli.
Facts about Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia:
  • It is usually found in the bone marrow or blood.
  • It is the most conman type of children cancer.
  • If this cancer doesn't get treated right away it gets worse really fast.
  • Many children use the treatment of chemotherapy or bone marrow transplants
  • This cancer occurs when the bone marrow makes to many lymphocytes which are a type of white blood cells.
Ways you can help:
There are many ways someone can help. Many people like to donate money to the A.L.L. charity. Every year there is a San Fransisco Half or Full Marathon you can run and the money they raise goes to help find a cure to A.L.L. You could also just be there for the person when they need you the most. People can donate their bone marrow to a cancer patient with A.L.L. if their bone marrow matches. You school can old a fundraiser or just wear the cancer color to show support and respect. There are many ways people can help cancer patients from big this to smaller things.
